1975
Born in the Midwest to Orville and Peg Jutte. Family was (and is) the most important thing to me. Ask anyone who knows me – they will tell you - I can barely order my fave drink at Starbucks without talking about my family! 😊
1983
3rd grade. I’m holding the first book I ever wrote. This was also the year I got my first diary. I thought it was so cool and I’ve been an avid journal-writer ever since. I keep this photo in my office as a reminder of where I came from (and to NOT cut my own hair!).
1988
8th grade. In case it isn’t obvious by this photo, I wasn’t one of the super cool kids! I spent most of middle school feeling out of place and wondering if I would ever fit in.
1991
My family moved from Ohio to the Pacific Northwest. I met Jenn on my first day of school and we became instant best friends. We are godmothers to each others’ kids.
1993
I graduated high school and began my journey as a college freshman. I met Corey on my first day of class and I fell in love…hard!
1999
I graduated from college. I can count on one hand (actually on 3 fingers!) the number of times I have seen my dad cry and this photo was one of them. As a first-generation college student, I am SO grateful.
2002
Corey and I got married in Mexico. One of the best days of my life...even when the mariachi band played theeeee longest wedding song in the history of the world and Corey and I were dying laughing because the first dance went on forever.
2004
Myles was born! He’s been bringing joy and laughter to our lives every single day since. I’m SO grateful God chose me to be Myles’ mom!
2006
Graduated with my Masters in Public Administration. I later returned to The Evergreen State College as an Adjunct Faculty Member and would teach in the graduate program for 7 years. Go Geoducks!
2010
Sweet Clara was born and I knew in that instant, our family was complete. This is one of my fave pics in the whole world – we took Clara to the ocean for the first time.
2016
I founded Compass Consulting as a “side hustle” while I kept my day job. After only a few months, I listened to my heart, took a leap of faith and turned consulting into my day job. I’ve never looked back!
2019
It was a dream come true (literally!) when I had the opportunity to spend time in Texas getting trained by Brené Brown to become a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator. I love, love, love facilitating this work.
2020
In person trainings are SOOOOO fun when they are a family affair! This is Sarah (my sister and BFF) and Clara working alongside The Leneker Team’s Director of First Impressions (aka my Mom!).
2021
Same great mission - Creating Happier, Healthier Workplaces - just a different name. During the rebranding process, we considered about 13,000 names. Once Myles suggested The Leneker Team, we knew that was it and Dash agrees.
2022
The global pandemic required that we shift our entire business model to a virtual world....and fast! Once travel resumed, I really started getting the hang of the whole “work anywhere” thing. This picture is from Sedona, one of my favorite places on earth!
2023
Myles left for college. Holy cow, nothing could have prepared me for that! I’ve told Clara she needs to live at home FOREVER but she is sooooo not on board. Ha!
2024
Graduated from Yale’s Women in Leadership Program and also started Cheers to Monday podcast. So fun! It’s a weekly reminder that life is worth celebrating, no matter what day of the week it is.
The Future!
I can’t wait to see what the future has in store. Take good care and keep dancing my friends. Cheers!
